Why Should I Trust The Bible?
You can trust the Scripture because of how it was written, by whom, and why so read it and do what it says

Marks of Rooftop Church
Matthew 10:27
Today, we install new members to our tribe. We are reminded of the vision and the mission that God has given to us. What is our goal as a church community? What are some marks which we should bear as members. We are more than just a place of gathering; we are committed to being impacted by God, simultaneously, we seek to make an impact (a difference) in the lives of others. We are no longer strangers, acquaintances, but we are now family. We shall now commit to grow this church together.
Final Destination
Jesus says that at His second coming, He’s going to sit on His glorious throne and gather all
people before Him, and will separate them from one another. In other words, everyone will
have to face Jesus on judgment day and give an account.

Love & Obedience
Last week, we talked about the importance of obedience in our relationship with God. Jesus often shared the same message to his followers—those who belong to Him, those who love Him, should obey His commandments. Jesus happened to release this call right before He proceeded to display the greatest act of love. Today, we learn that loving Jesus is not the same as keeping his commandments. Loving Him precedes and inspires us to keeping His commandments—we will not obey Him unless we believe Him. We cannot trust Him unless we love Him.

Why Obedience?
We start a new mini-series today on radical obedience. As one of the core values of Rooftop church, we see the importance (necessity) of not only understanding but living our relationship with God that is premised on obedience unto Him. Our tendency to disregard and not prioritize God’s commands for us was evident from the very beginning of humanity, and it is often the reason for our lostness even today. Today, we desire to move towards the life of greater trust in God and discover the joy of living a life of radical obedience unto Him.

GOD-DEPENDENT
All throughout the Bible, powerful (breakthrough) encounters with God have come when
people were in helpless situations. They were often out of options, and they had to
depend on God with everything. In those moments, they experience and come to know
Him in ways that they would have never if not for the incredible need of Him.
Unfortunately, many Christians have become so dependent and self-sufficient over time
that God is no longer a necessity in our lives. Today, we talk about how we can combat
the spirit of independence and learn to experience Him in a deeper, more intimate way.
Who Is My Neighbor?
Today Jocelyn Green of North Hills Church speaks about what it means to love your neighbors and enemies as Christ did.
